Commission Pricing Guide
Please remember that these prices are NOT final. I hold right to change the price of a commission from these "tiers" depending on the amount of work is needed. Examples could be: A simple/complex character, requesting a model I'm not familiar with, a model requires less or more work for whatever reason. At the end of the day, I'm just a dude that needs to buy groceries, and I'm happy to discuss pricing or pricing plans on an individual level with anyone. Also please note that I will only accept payment BEFORE sending the model over, and AFTER I have finished the avatar completely. This is to assure both parties remain accountable and reliable.
SIMPLE RETEXTURE - $30
Your average retexture done in substance painter. The avatar will be uploaded on your choice of a public avatar or directly onto your account from Unity. This is about as simple as it gets, and the price also can fluctuate a ton depending on the complexity of your character.
ADVANCED RETEXTURE - $60
This is for characters that are more design intensive, stuff like fur brushing, extreme designs, and detailed pattern work. Texture baking, occlusion mapping, etc. depending on the complexity also might make an avatar fall closer to this price.
SIMPLE MODEL EDIT - +$10 Per
A simple model edit could be something like changing the tail, the ears, etc. This could also include slightly reshaping the body, but if your character has clothes that need to be reshaped to the new body, that would qualify as a major model edit because weight painting is annoying.🥀
SIMPLE PROP/ASSET/TOOL - $5 Per
Simple toggles could include giving a character a prop, changing clothing color, and turning off and on clothing! Of course everything is case to case and if you would like lots of toggles on your avatar, I'm happy to do some for free if it's super simple stuff.
EVERYTHING ELSE. . .
Perhaps you want me to Frankenstein two avatars together, or completely revamp an avatar. Perhaps you want an avatar completely from scratch!!! Just ask me. My goal isn't to screw you over, but this is my only job at the moment, so I also need to take my pricing seriously and make sure I'm taking care of myself. These avatars can take hours or even days.
